All these sources emit particles in a wide diameter range and, of course, nanoparticles represent an important fraction. Some of the generating mechanisms are explained. A distribution of locations were measuments have been performed according to the scientific papers reviewed is also included, as well as a selection of different environments and methodologcal procedures.

Presentation of the NanoMONITOR project to the attendees of the CAI (I) specialization course: «ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION AND ITS IMPACT ON INTERIOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY» organized by AVEMCAI (Association of Companies of Environmental Quality in Interiors) on September 29, 2016 in Valencia. It introduces the project and its objectives in a general way and oriented to the measurement of air quality inside industrial environments to complete data in the nanometer spectrum.
