NanoMONITOR Training on the measurement of ENMs in workplaces and urban environments

NanoMONITOR Training on the measurement of ENMs in workplaces and urban environments

7 July 2017

Porto Palace Conference Centre & Hotel, Thessaloniki, Greece

NanoMONITOR Training session on the measurement of ENMs in workplaces and urban environments will be held in the framework of the Nanotexnology 2018: International Conference on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (ISSON Summer Schools) on 7th July 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Objective

The main objective of the session is to train attendees on the use of the tools developed under the LIFE project NanoMONITOR to support the characterization of the potential exposure to nanomaterials in workplaces and urban environments.

During the sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the members of the consortium and gain knowledge on the type of information that the project can generate on the levels of exposure to engineered nanomaterials (ENMs), as well as to use the tools developed within the project, including the monitoring station prototype and the data acquisition software.

Agenda

Concept of the project (15 min)

Training on the use of the exposure scenario library (20 min)

Training on the use of the monitoring station prototype (35 min)

Training on the use of the NanoMONITOR on-line data acquisition tool (35 min)
