EU Life+ European Commission, Environment – LIFE Programme
LIFE is the EU’s financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the EU, as well as in some candidate, acceding and neighbouring countries. Since 1992, LIFE has co-financed some 3506 projects, contributing approximately €2.5billion to the protection of the environment.
EU ECHA European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)
ECHA is the driving force among regulatory authorities in implementing the EU’s ground breaking chemicals legislation for the benefit of human health and the environment as well as for innovation and competitiveness. ECHA helps companies to comply with the legislation, advances the safe use of chemicals, provides information on chemicals and addresses chemicals of concern.
